This is a place where people can gather for a walk, cycle, or jog. You can walk your dog on a leash, but please use the bags provided to pick up after your dog. We all like to enjoy the park so don't spoli it by being selfish.
There are plenty of benches to sit and watch the boats or people flying their kites.
The city has provided picini tables and the benches are in Memory of those who have gone but are still remembered.
The best places of course to have a picnic is on the beach where they provide places to cook your food should you require it.
The scenery is always beautiful.
You can look toward the North Shore Mountains or see the airport with places arriving and departing any time of day.
Then there are the Herons and Hawks along with the Swans and sea gulls to mention but a few things that might interest you while to relax.
