A Visual Visit to My Community. We are located in the province of British Columbia. Just south of the Vancouver International Airport is a City called Richmond and a suburb of this city is our community of Steveston B.C. A small fishing village located on the South Arm of the Fraser River. We also have some Points of Pride in our community like the Post Office, Gulf of Georgia Cannery, London Farm, Finn Slough, Scotch Pond, and the Tram know as S.I.R.S. Others places of interest is the small town of Steveston itself. Stevston has 3 main streets. It borders Steveston Hwy to its North ,No 2 road to the East , the Dyke to the South & West.on the arm of the South Fraser River. Once the home of many canneries and B. C. Packers .You can browse the shops for souvieners or stop for some famous Fish & Chips on the boardwalk or take a stroll or cycle along our dykes and enjoy the countryside. I have taken some pictures of Steveston Village and the Dyke,. I will be adding more photographs as the months go by.

Looking north from Garry Point you can see the beautiful mountains in North Vancouver, B.C.
Fields of poppies grow along the pathways of the dyke.
Strolling, cycling or jogging along the dyke enjoying the view.
Hovercraft going through the inlet of Scotch Pond
Where once it was sand dunes now wild lupins grow and add to the beauty of the dyke.
